For my project, I will be doing the Magazine. I believe this would be a good option for me. I'm good at digital design and photography and they're both things I enjoy doing. A deciding factor for why I chose this project over the film, is because I'd rather work alone. Doing the film project without a group would be challenging. I would rather work alone because when it comes to artistic projects, I tend to be a perfectionist and I would end up doing all the work. For my magazine, I'd like to either do a cooking and food magazine or a beauty magazine. If I did the beauty magazine, I could use my friends to model for me.

Print journalism is the the practice of reporting, photographing and editing news stories for newspapers or magazines. Based on my experiences and what I have learned in my Media Studies class, there are many aspects of print journalism that interest me. In 'All The President's Men', the film accurately portrayed the process of a journalist working on a story. The two journalists, Woodward and Bernstein, are shown throughout the film interviewing, researching and writing there news story. This is somethings that is interesting to me and something I believe I would excel at. The 'Magazine Analysis' assignment gave many examples of the digital design used in magazines. Previously, I have taken a digital design class where I learned how to use Photoshop and Illustrator. I think that I'm good at graphic design and the aesthetics of and how to create a professional looking magazine cover. I also love photography and is a key component of making a magazine.

Film Production is the filming, editing, and producing of film media. Based on my personal experiences in addition to what I have learned Media Studies thus far, film media production is very interesting but time consuming task. While watching the 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' behind the scenes movie, I noticed a few things. I noticed that all aspects of film making is challenging, including script writing, casting, directing, acting, editing and advertising. This process typically takes a lot of time, and a lot of people. While watching the series 'The News Room', I also learned many things. Something that was obvious was the fact that the news story process could take a long time. The Newsroom' cast is big, which allows them to efficiently produce media daily.
