Most of the photos I used are of food (mostly macarons), because this is what my magazine and article is focused on for this specific article. I used the same font and similar color scheme for the cover/table of contents and the article. Also all of the titles are in lowercase which is consistant for all 4 pages

I will be listing a few the most important articles in the table of contents. I will be using 2 photos from my photo shoot. Ill be using the same fonts as the cover(RaleWay)

 Most of the articles are simple and easy to understand recipes. There are also reviews of some local restaurants and an inside look with tips from professional bakers.

The title for my magazine is called "Bake By the Book". I came up with this title because my magazine is a baking magazine that is mostly surrounding baked goods. I'm using fonts that are similar to popular other home and cooking magazines. I am going to use colors that compliment the background photo.

I will be shooting one of my photo shoots in my kitchen. I will be using this location because of the white solid backgrounds and counter, and the bright lighting.

For my first photo shoot I will do it in my kitchen. I plan on either baking and/or purchasing an assortment of pastries and taking photos with my camera. I also plan on taking pictures along the way to show the step by step process.

For the interview I plan on interviewing a chef at a local bakery. For the process of scheduling, I plan on calling them or coming in to ask a few questions. Some questions I plan on asking are : 1. How long have you been baking as a profession? This is an important question for the readers because they get an idea on how long they have been baking and that it takes skill and practice. 2. What are some tips you can give to our readers about baking? This is an important question for the readers because it will help them improve their skills. 3. What is your favorite thing to bake and why? This is an important question for the reader because it develops an idea on what they may want to bake next or inspire them to bake.

The magazine "Food and Wine" is a popular cooking magazine. The background picture for the cover is a close up of a a meal on a plate. The title "Food & Wine" is on the far top in a solid red color that compliments the main photo. The main topic for the issue is in black text below the title with even smaller subtitles underneath. These explain some of the main articles of the issue, including new fresh summer recipes and tips and tricks from some of Food and Wine's chefs. Most of the  advertisements are cooking or wine related. The photos that appear on the cover, articles and table on contents are typically images of food. They have over 7.8 million monthly readers . 

The magazine "Food Network" is a popular cooking and food magazine. The background image is a picture of three hot dogs that is centered towards the right. The color scheme for the this issue is white, green, orange and yellow. They incorporate the colors in the background into the title and subtitle. The subtitles are aligned to the far left so that the photo is not in the way.  The cover lists some of the article titles, including 10 ways to make hot dogs and more grilling tips. Most of the advertisements are food related. The photos that appear on the cover, articles and table on contents are images of food. They have over 5 million readers

The magazine "Allrecipes" is a popular cooking and food magazine. The background image is a picture of donuts that is centered towards the right. The color scheme for the photo is white and pink. They incorporate the colors in the background into the title and subtitle. The subtitles are aligned to the far left so that the photo is not in the way. The cover lists some of the article titles, including DIY doughnuts and kitchen hacks. Most of the advertisements are food related. The photos that appear on the cover, articles and table on contents are images of food. They have over 8.7 million readers

The magazine "Eating Well" is a cooking magazine that focuses on healthy recipes and fitness. The main topic for the issue is in various colored text on the far left with smaller subtitles underneath. These explain some of the main articles of the issue, including healthy and summer recipes. These explain some of the main articles of the issue, including Thanksgiving foods and holiday table setup ideas. Most of the advertisements are food, garden or craft related. The photos that appear on the cover, articles and table on contents are images of food, crafts or Martha herself. They have over 8 million monthly readers . It was  nominated for the 'James Beard Award for Best National Television Cooking Show' and 'More'
